Microsoft continues to shopping Android, and is done with the Echo Notification Lockscreen app,

Microsoft continues to work very hard so that when you launch Windows 10 Mobile, which will come with a new batch of Lumia devices, this is an operating system that can compete with Android and iOS. But also it appears to be arming itself with a collection of applications for Google's operating system , who knows if to attack the search company at home.

In recent months we are seeing Microsoft is releasing nearly all its major applications in Android. Just yesterday our fellow Engadget Windows Cortana told us how he would be closely integrated into Cyanogen OS, and today we read in Business Insider that Redmond have acquired another popular application , particularly the notification system Notification Lockscreen Echo.

Notification Lockscreen Echo is an application that modifies our unlock screen and allows us to choose what type of notifications you want to display on it all with an excellent minimalist design with beautiful wallpapers. The reason for buying? Well according to Julie Larson-Green, head of the "experience" in Microsoft, to improve the user experience and get there more customizable lock screens.

Why such purchase Android?

There are two answers to this question, logic and fantasy. According to Larson-Green own, Android is attractive for its large number of users and how much it allows developers to access the operating system if it is compared with iOS. This means that the logical explanation is that Microsoft is using Android as a testing ground.
This theory feeds Microsoft's own policy, as it ensures that your company is not ready to throw incomplete and unfriendly applications for its users. Maybe that's why Android is a testing ground and then bring applications that have developed there to its own mobile operating system.
The second possibility is that everyone wears rumored since the time of Nokia with Windows Phone, Microsoft is preparing an assortment of basic applications to launch a device using the operating system of Google . This in any case is the least likely, and so far we have not heard any news about any device that points in that direction. What you do you think?
